About the Department

The Department of EEE was started in 2008 with a sanctioned intake of 60 .We have full fledged laboratories .These include Electrical Machines I &II lab,Electrical Circuits lab ,Power Electronics lab ,Control Systems lab, Measurements and Instrumentation lab ,Power Systems lab,Electrical Workshop ,Power System Simulation Lab, Electrical Systems Simulation lab and Basic Electrical Engineering lab.We have Committed and Dedicated faculty members.

FACULTY Achivements

Conducted Exhibition of projects "PROJECT EXPO" an event of Exhibition of Technical Projects by the students in September 2019 in our campus.

Organized GUEST LECTURE by Mr. RAJU NAIK, Assistant Divisional Engineer, Central Power Training Institute on" Maintenance of Indoor substations" on 5th March 2020.

Conducted INDUCTION PROGRAM to the students of I YEAR, EEE in August 2019.

Mr. T. SATYA SRINIVAS, HOD was involved in the organization of NBA awareness workshop sponsored by NBA, New Delhi in 2003.

Mr. T. SATYA SRINIVAS, HOD organized a SYMPOSIUM for STUDENTS of SOUTH INDIA "ELECTRO VISION - 2K5 acted as a FACULTY CORDINATOR in 2005.

Mr. G. ISMAYEL and Mr. K.SAIRAM who are faculty members published a paper entitled " Comparative studies on different Laboratory Investigations of Ionic current Environment of HVDC Lines" in Scopus Indexed Journal " International Journal of Advanced Science and Technology".

Mr. S. MANISH, Mr. G. ISMAYEL and Mr. M.CHAITANYA who are faculty members published a paper entitled " A Review on Predictive Methodologies for Enhancement of Solar PV Cell Efficiency" in Scopus Indexed Journal " TEST ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT".

Mr. T.SIVARAM, faculty member published a paper entitled " Diminution of voltage Imbalance in a two feeder distribution systems using IUPQC" in the journal "IJLTEM" in August 2017.

Mr. G. ISMAYEL faculty member was awarded BEST FACULTY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD in 2018 by MREM.

Mr. T.SIVARAM faculty member was awarded BEST FACULTY ACHIEVEMENT AWARD in 2018 by MREM.

Mrs. T. BHAVANI, faculty member completed a project " Simulation of Transformer Geometry" in the R&D Division of BHEL, Ramachandrapuram in July, 2014.

Mr. NAVEEN ARIKELA, a student of III Year demonstrated a Project "WEAPONISED RC VEHICLE" in Project Exhibition contest conducted by MLRIT, Hyderabad on 28-02-2020 and secured FIRST PRIZE.

Mr. NAVEEN ARIKELA, a student of III Year demonstrated a Project "KALAM 1532R WEAPON" in Project Exhibition contest conducted by JNTUH, Hyderabad on 12-03-2020 & 13-03-2020 and secured FIRST PRIZE.

Mr. VADLURI VARUN, a student of III Year developed an Android App "Engineering Projects" which supports students and companies and offers technical solutions.
